Erika Lorenz Alba is a public affairs director with Foley & Lardner LLP. She is a member of the Government & Public Policy Practice and the
Insurance Industry Team. Ms. Alba has extensive legislative and regulatory experience, and in her government affairs practice has represented
many different clients before the Florida Legislature, Executive Office of the Governor, Attorney General, Chief Financial Officer, and executive
branch agencies of Florida. These diverse clients include Fortune 500 corporations, small start-up companies, state and local agencies, industry
associations and non-profit organizations. Ms. Alba's practice encompasses all aspects of government affairs issues that may affect a client, and in
addition to actively lobbying the Florida Legislative and executive branches, she advises clients on matters, including legislative strategic planning,
political action committee management, as well as state and federal political contribution laws. Prior to joining Foley, Ms. Alba was principal and
managing director of the multi-state legislative and regulatory practice at The Fiorentino Group in Jacksonville, Florida.
Christopher M. McGhee is President of McGhee Risk Capital, a merchant banking and advisory business focused on arranging financing, and
providing structuring and advisory services to the insurance industry. Prior to forming McGhee Risk Capital, Mr. McGhee built and led GC
Securities, the investment banking and capital markets arm of Marsh & McLennan's reinsurance brokerage operation. Mr. McGhee was the
President of MMC Securities Holdings Inc., and Chairman and CEO of Normandy Re, Marsh & McLennan's Bermuda-based "transformer"
reinsurer. In addition to building GC Securities into a leader in insurance-focused investment banking, Mr. McGhee led the origination and
execution of numerous corporate-finance and capital markets transactions during his tenure at MMC, which included capital raising, structured
finance and merger and acquisition assignments. Mr. McGhee is a recognized expert in the field of insurance-linked securities where he has been
one of the leaders of its development, having pioneered many early efforts in the market beginning in the 1990's and continuing today. He is past
Chairman of the SIFMA's Risk-Linked Securities Committee, whose members include all the major dealers in risk-linked securities. Mr. McGhee has
advised governments and exchanges, and published extensively on insurance securitization. He has also testified before Congress on the
subject. He holds a BA in Government and Economics from Oberlin College.
Wayne R. Gross, a former chief of the Orange County Division of the Office of the United States Attorney, is the head of Greenberg Traurig’s
White-Collar Criminal Defense Practice Group in the Orange County office. Prior to joining Greenberg Traurig, Wayne was a partner with Snell &
Wilmer. His practice is concentrated in trial practice and securities law, corporate crisis management, internal investigations, complex civil litigation,
intellectual property litigation, healthcare litigation and white-collar criminal defense.
